Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Sixth Day) – THE SACRED HEART SAVES US
FINAL PERSEVERANCE
We all know the text of the great promise, but it is good to read it again to better remember and cherish it.
“In the excess of the mercy of My Heart, I promise that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who will receive Holy Communion on the first Friday for nine consecutive months, the grace of final repentance. They will not die in My displeasure, nor without receiving the Sacraments, and My Heart will be their secure refuge in that last hour.”
Is it really possible that it’s so easy to save oneself? Is it not pretension or recklessness? The facts disprove the accusation. And it is precisely through the great promise, that devotion to the Sacred Heart has been able to shine in all its splendor the power, wisdom and goodness of God.
